Happy Father’s Day! Since today is centered all around of the wonderful dads out there, we want YOU to meet Jack Harrigan.
Jack is the father of the STONEFIRE founders, Mary and Maureen Harrigan. He graduated from Notre Dame, where he was on the collegiate golf team (and still holds the course record). After graduating college, Jack joined the military and later became an engineer. With his wife, Mary Lou, he raised 9 children in the San Fernando Valley, and was able to put all of his children through private school and university.
Jack and Mary Lou were always looking for creative, simple and delicious ways to feed the family on a budget and create lasting memories around the dinner table. This became Mary and Maureen’s inspiration for STONEFIRE Grill.
What was Jack’s favorite meal? Meat and Potatoes! Remind you of anything at STONEFIRE? We think he would’ve loved our Mesquite BBQ or Pepper Garlic Tri Tip or our Sesame Glazed or Lemon Garlic Salmon with a side of Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and you can’t forget about the Freshly Baked Breadsticks! Jack was a lover of all different desserts, but he never complained when Mary Lou made her family carrot cake recipe, which can still be found in our restaurants today as Our Incredible Carrot Cake!
Don’t have Father’s Day dinner plans yet? Good news! STONEFIRE is open and never requires reservations! Come in and treat YOUR dad to his favorite meal tonight!
Thank you, fathers, for all that you do!
